Favorite Food? I’m pathetic, it’s Corned Beef Hash. The god awful, trans fat laden canned kind. Mary Kitchen brand only please. I know, gross right?
The Best thing about Charlotte? I’ll be serious for a moment here. It’s always growing with great new places and people. Coming from Buffalo where everything was declining at the time, this has been refreshing.
Favorite Sport? Men’s Snowboarding SuperPipe (Think Shaun White). Those guys risk their lives every single practice run and competitive heat. They have more coordination, rhythm and style than anyone in the NFL, NBA, MLB or NHL IMHO.
Hobbies? Tennis, wake boarding, skiing (although I don’t get a chance to get out there as often as I’d like!) learning new creative software, but mostly lounging and watching “the making of” documentaries of any movie – which really helps keep me out of shape.
Favorite TV Show? Right now, I would say Archer. Yep, the Adult Swim cartoon Archer with 6 seasons under it’s belt. Sterling Archer is the world’s greatest secret agent in his own mind. The show caught me completely off guard when I first saw it. It’s so well written, voiced and animated. To me, it’s like the 60’s cartoon Jonny Quest meets James bond meets Office Space with tons of character improv. I can’t get enough of it.
What did you want to be when you grew up? A stunt man. Kind of like Lee Majors in the Fall Guy (for those of you old enough to remember that short lived TV series). I would jump off of just about anything with my moon boots because I was confident they would protect me from any impact. Never got a bad injury doing that, but not for a lack of trying to kill myself with increasingly higher jumps. Fortunately, I found jumping into water was the best. I used to jump dozens of times a day at this 50ft platform at Sherkston beach, just over the Canadian border from Buffalo.
Who is your Favorite Super Hero and Why? Superman… He was the only Superhero movie from the 70’s all the way until Tim Burton’s Batman in 1989, so Superman was it. The truth is though I was a Star Wars and Indiana Jones nut, so Superman took a back seat to those characters.
If you could be an animal what would you be? What… not a fish? Cause I’d love to be a dolphin. Wait… that’s a mammal. I choose a dolphin. Just not one at Sea World, thanks.
If you could create a comedy movie about your life, who would you have play you? Oh sure… my life’s a comedy now? Am I funny to you? If I had to pick someone to play me, it would be Indiana Jones or maybe Archer.
